Easter Eggs, Ear Infections, and ThrEE Months

Big Smile from Aiden!
Meeting the Bunny

Luke loves to put his hands in his pockets! Don't ever give him pants or a coat without pockets.

Liam thought the Easter Bunny was Great!
Very interested in the guitar and violin player

Waiting to Start the Egg Hunt

Aiden slept through the entire Easter Egg Hunt

The boys enjoyed their first Easter Egg hunt over the weekend at a local park. They loved it. They were particularly interested in the Easter Bunny, especially Liam. Liam just wanted to look at the bunny and kept wanting to walk up and touch him. The boys got their picture taken with the Easter Bunny while Aiden slept through most of the event. Maybe next year for Aiden.

We were also hit with another round of ear infections over the weekend. At our first visit to the doctor over the weekend, we went home with three ear infections (Aiden has two ear infections and Luke has one). Over the past two years, we have learned that you should always just get everyone checked out because if one of them does not have an ear infection now, it is likely that it will soon follow. So, although Liam was clear initially, he had two ear infections less than 24 hours later! Needless to say, John and I are growing a little tired of the pediatrician's office and having three sick at one time makes the days pretty difficult since everyone wants to sit in Mommy's lap. It is very helpful when John comes home to help.
On another note, Aiden will be three months old on April 2nd! He has hit a milestone for his mom. He will officially be able to go to the fitness center daycare with his brothers! As some of you know, I enjoy working out and this is what keeps my stress level down. We have a great fitness center here where I can drop off the boys for babysitting while I work out and shower in peace and quiet. It is one of my favorite things to do, but Aiden had to be three months old to be able to go so I am looking forward to getting back into it.
Aiden is really changing a lot and smiling all the time. He is still a very easy little guy and thankfully goes with the flow. The boys love playing with him.

Happy Easter!

Visit from Grandpa Morse and The BIG CABOOSE

Aiden and Grandpa Morse
Grandpa and Breakfast with the boys

Despite the blah looks on their faces, Luke and Liam actually enjoy the stroller

Here we go!

Getting Strapped In

We enjoyed a recent visit from Grandpa Morse and he enjoyed meeting Aiden for the first time. I imgaine it was a bit overwhelming with all the activity and noise around here but he enjoyed seeing how the boys have grown and getting to meet Aiden. He was also a big help in holding hands, changing diapers, and getting us around for a few days.

I am also posting a few pictures of the infamous new triple stroller. As crazy as it sounds, I actually really like it. I debated the necessity of it, but I can honestly say that it is great! It has really helped us get around and in and out of places. The boys already know which seat they want to sit in and have even asked to ride in it recently. It is long and big but it actually turns quite well and although it is heavy to put in and out of the car, it is feasible and thankfully fits in the van. The seat for Aiden also reclines so that he can use it with or without his carseat. I can't say enough good things about it and I am hoping it will continue to allow us to have some outings this summer and will make vacations a little easier. It will be challenging to get into smaller areas like restaurants but we don't do that very much without John's help anyway.

Just Aiden

This is a different view point
Tummy Time

Bouncing and Playing

I recently found my fist and I really like it!

Very Sleepy...

I am just posting a few cute pictures of Aiden from this week and last weekend. Luke and Liam are also doing well, it is just difficult to get good pictures with all three boys. We have had some wonderful spring weather after a week of nothing but rain. The boys are so happy to be outside. We have spent many evenings and afternoons swinging on the swingsets nearby and playing hockey or basketball in the driveway. Luke and Liam even made their first trip in the jogging stroller with Dad who barely survived pushing all that weight while running behind it.

We recently made a new purchase that has made getting around so so much easier for me. We purchased a triple stroller! Yes, they do make them and unfortunately you can only order them online so I did not really have an idea what to expect from this thing. I talked to a couple different people, including a friend who has triplets, and narrowed down which one to buy. The narrowing down part was not too difficult as there are only about four to pick from, but they do range quite a bit in price, size, weight, and amenities. We now have virtually every option of stroller for three kids: single, double, and triple leisure type strollers as well as single and double jogging strollers. Oh my! Because the boys cannot really walk across a street on their own, the triple stroller is invaluable for getting from PointA to B. I will post some pictures soon as it is quite the sight to see.

Big Boy

Our new matching Football Pj's. Luke loves to say "touchdown" and hold up his hands

Still a little wobbly

Now that is better....

Sleeping with Daddy

There is a reason why Aiden is not enjoying the benefits of all the clothing that Luke and Liam passed down to him even though all three boys were born in January. Aiden is a BIG BOY! He had his 2 month check up today and all looks good. He is in the 97th percentile for length and weight and 75-90th percentile for head circumference. His weight is up to 14 lbs. 6 ounces and his length is 24 3/4 inches. He is already starting to try and roll over as well as hold his head up. He has pretty good head control already so we have tried him in the Bumbo for the first time this week as you will see in the pictures. He is starting to grin a little and responds to our voices when he is really alert. He is still a pretty good sleeper and a content baby for the most part except after his most recent shots and ear infection! He is starting to coo and enjoys being entertained by his big brothers.

Happy 2 month Birthday Aiden John!

Aiden at 2 months

Liam always wants to take his hockey stick with him

Playing Hockey with Daddy is the best

Luke is helping Mommy with Dishes

Aiden sleeping at the table while the boys are eating breakfast

Breakfast time with all three boys

We knew Aiden was a lot bigger than either of the boys were at the same age, but now we have proof of that fact. Aiden went to see the pediatrician over the weekend for an ear infection and his body weight is up to 13 pounds. For comparison, Luke was 10 lbs and Liam was 8 lbs at this age. Aiden is quickly moving out of the clothing that the boys wore through at least March. I thought we would be pretty good on hand me down clothing since all three boys were born in January, but I was not banking on Aiden being so much bigger.
We are enjoying the first few glimpses of grass and hoping that spring is quickly approaching. We have a lot of melting to do, but the days are getting up to the mid 30's and the sun is high so the snow is beginning to disappear. We are looking forward to introducing Aiden to the jogging stroller as he gets a little older and the weather gets warmer. Aiden has his own single jogging stroller while the boys have a double stroller. John, however, contends that he will push Aiden and Liam and I can push Luke since Luke is nearly the weight of Liam and Aiden combined. The boys continue to love hockey and have been playing both inside and outside. We even go to the community center to watch hockey. I am posting a few pictures from the week.
