Our new living room! This room has been many things from the lego room to the PS4 room to the distance learning school room....but now it is a fun sitting room that we are enjoying. |

The last few weeks have been busy for us with hockey back on the schedule every night and we decided to tackle some home projects over Christmas. Over Christmas (when hockey was on pause), we decided to do a few projects that have been on hold for awhile simply because its hard to find the time and energy to do them. When we moved into our house around 5 years ago, we did some painting and replaced the carpet, but decided to wait on buying some furniture and making other changes. Five years later, we decided not to wait any longer. We went shopping for furniture, changed out some outdated light fixtures, painted the kitchen cabinets and changed out the backsplash, etc...The house is looking fresh and clean after a much needed facelift. We are in the midst of a few renovations and some of the furniture has been delayed due to COVID so I will hold off on posting a few pictures. More to come as we hopefully finish pretty soon.
Finn has enjoyed playing goalie occasionally for his Mite 2 Gophers team. He definitely knows a bit too much about being a goalie after watching Luke in net. He even came out and warmed up by stretching on the ice just like the big boys do! Aiden is having a great Squirt season and will have his travel tournament to Fargo at the end of the month. Luke is heading to Duluth in a few weeks for his final tournament and Liam was in Fargo and Rochester earlier this month.
We hope you are doing well and staying healthy! It is cold here with temps barely making it to zero and wind chills hovering around -20 degrees for the last week. We thought we might miss out on some of the brutally cold temps this winter, but that is not the case.
