Happy Halloween!  We had a very nice Halloween this year.  The weather was chilly, but thankfully we didn't have snow and it was not raining.  Liam and several of his buddies all decided to be dinosaurs like the Jurassic Park movie.  It was hilarious to watch them waddle from house to house and fall over trying to run and step on each other's tails.  They were much slower than normal so it was easier for us to keep up with them.  Aiden dressed up as a Sumo wrestler and Finn as a police man.  Luke came up with his costume on his own and decided to be the Monopoly man.  Very creative and characteristic of Luke since he loves to play board games.

Last weekend, we went to Rochester for Luke's first hockey tournament.  They did decent for their first tournament against some phenomenal competition.  We start our regular season games this weekend.  John spent the entire weekend in Rochester with Luke and his team, but the rest of us drove down on Saturday afternoon and got to see the final two games.  Aiden finished hockey tryouts around noon last Saturday and ended up on a Squirt B1 team which is an awesome achievement for him.  He's one of only a few first year kids to make either an A team or B1 team (the rest are on teams slightly below that) so it will be a challenging yet fun year for Aiden.  He is very ready for the change and the challenge to play more competitive travel hockey.  We likely won't be doing much other than hockey until March or April so buckle in.....12 travel tournaments with half of them overlapping on dates and roughly 100 district games among the three travel teams.  Finn will have a few smaller half ice games beginning in January and we have practice for at least 1-3 of the boys each night.  Here we go!
