Checking out the new push and ride toy with mom

Being Silly

The boys had a pediatrician's appointment today for their 9 month check-up and both are doing very well. Considering how active Liam is most (if not all) of the time, it was no suprise that he is still very lean and basically tiny. Mom is actually kind of happy that he is still so light because it makes carrying two babies much easier. Luke is now nearly 6 pounds heavier than his brother which also explains why they are not wearing the same size clothing. Of course, Liam is so tiny around the waist that he can fit into 3-6 month jeans! They both continue on their own growth curves and are progressing nicely according to the doctor.
Luke: 22 lbs. 8 oz.
29 1/4 inches long
47 cm (head)
Liam: 17 lbs.
28 inches long
45 1/2 cm (head)
In addition, we got them a push toy recently as both of them are really starting to enjoy standing and moving around. Liam is crawling all over the place and getting into all kinds of things including our recycles that sit in a basket on the floor of the kitchen. They are also really showing a desire to start feeding themselves and move away from baby food. They enjoy also eating crackers, cheerios, fruit, and other small finger foods.
